I have made a lot of different rests, platens, and jigs to use with the KMG and I have also bought the Wuertz Machine Works surface grinder attachment. Over the years I upgraded with the small wheel attachment, made my own small wheel attachment to use Bader wheels and round rod, and I have regular contact wheels from 2 inches up to 10 inches.

1,427. Mar 28, 2015. #5. I just got the Wuertz surface grinder attachment. I bought the longer one. I have only flattened and tapered one blade so far. I put the feeler gauge at .058 for the first test so the taper is slight but will set it at .070 next time which is the amount of taper over six inches. Here are 3 photos.
